Utilising the timeless traditions and techniques of female potters of Kornos, I will design a vessel of similar sound to the Chinese wind instrument Xao, to produce a ceremonial dance album that celebrates cultural heritage and artistic evolution.

I am a multidisciplinary artist that is focused on making progressive rock music inspired by artists like Ziad Rahbani and Steven Wilson. Being Sublunary’s lead guitarist for over six years, I decided to discover my own sound and pursue my solo career. Moving from Syria to Cairo in 2012 due to unfortunate circumstances in my home town, I decided to make an EP that sheds light on what its like moving forward from such events.

Expect to hear from me a playful, upbeat, vibey, high energy, genre-fluid DJ set traversed, mixed and built up depending on the flow of the dancefloor energy.

I started out as a self-taught bedroom producer and have developed collaborations, as a contributor, both with local independent record labels here in Cyprus and abroad, and performed live at several events and festivals, using the alias Mindscape. Apart from sound design and live performances, I’ve been following and supporting the underground electronic music scene for several years and later on –yet only recently– appeared behind the decks, passionate about the creative process of delivering versatile DJ sets, at several different venues and festivals.
